Going forward, there will be a Penalty for counterfeit/fake products and the following actions will be undertaken;

·  Any product identified to be a counterfeit will be deactivated and a penalty of 30,000/= charged to the offending shop for every lodged complaint by customers that is proven to be true.

·  The penalty charge will be deducted from your next payout.

·    Jumia will be fully transparent to legal authorities investigating cases of alleged breach of trademarks on the platform.
